MS2 is a space for experimental work with 20th and 21st-century collections. The museum's collections are presented around themes that curators consider essential for contemporary audiences. On the ground floor, a space has been arranged for temporary exhibitions, focusing primarily on issues related to the avant-garde heritage. The building also houses a space for workshops and other educational activities, as well as a multimedia room used for lectures and film screenings. Inside, there is also the "Avant-garde" café and an art bookstore.
