The basic rate of VAT in Poland is 23%. Only tourists from outside the European Union may get the VAT refund in Poland provided that they make purchases in a store marked with a tax free sign for a minimum of PLN 300 from one seller. They must then receive confirmation (stamp) of the customs office regarding the export of purchased goods outside the EU intact in their personal luggage within 3 months from the date of purchase.
