The Polish currency is the Polish Zloty (PLN), which consists of 100 groszy. The following coins are used: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 groszy, as well as 1, 2 and 5 zloty, and the banknotes with face value of: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 zloty. For one American dollar you have to pay on average PLN 3.0–3.5, and for one euro –– PLN 4.0–4.5. Current exchange rates are available on the National Bank of Poland’s website.
