Piwnica Łódzka serves dishes we all remember from the times when we were children in the new original version based on regional products. Chef Sebastian Spychała promotes Lodz cuisine among the restaurant’s guests and rediscovers local flavors, such as zalewajka (kind of potato soup), knedle with plums (stuffed poached dumplings), pierogi (traditional Polish dumplings) stuffed with goose meat, and pork tenderloin with prażok (type of potato dumpling) and sauerkraut. He restores the forgotten regional dishes to their original splendor. Restaurant’s menu is short and it changes seasonally.
