International Festival of Comics and Games is a meeting place for the creators and fans of comics and games. Organized since 1991, the festival is the biggest event in this field in South-Eastern Europe. Every year, it gathers over a hundred artists and attracts several dozen thousand visitors. The program of the event includes meetings with designers, illustrators, scenographers, games and comics publishers, console games tournaments, workshops, exhibitions, and an international short comic contest. There is also a trade fair zone where visitors can buy old and new comics from all over the world, books, and professional equipment for designers.
Festival program combines many elements, the most significant of which include: comics zone, games zone, trade fair zone, international short comic contest, exhibitions, workshops and education, and cosplay contests for the best costume from the world of comic, manga, anime, and games.
The comic and games festival takes place at the turn of September and October each year.
