During the interior design, the owners of the hotel were inspired by the textile industry, which is perfectly reflected in the name of the hotel. Textiles have played a key role in the history of Łódź. Rapid development of the city started at the beginning of the XIXth centruy, together with Industrial Revolution. Very soon city became the largest textile industry center in the Kingdom of Poland and the second textile center in the Russian Empire after Moscow.
