Nieborow and Arkadia

The palace and garden complex with a romantic garden is an interesting proposition for a one-day trip to the vicinity of Łowicz. The complex was built on the former noble lands and, despite its complicated fate, today it arouses recognition and admiration among visitors. The best years of the residence were when the area was looked after by the Radziwił family. In accordance with the trends of the time, a beautiful French-style park was created around the palace, where carefully selected plantings deserve attention. In the park, m.in two plane trees from the seventeenth century have been preserved. Currently, the palace with the preserved exhibits is a museum of the interiors of the palace residence from the 17th to the 19th century and is under the care of the National Museum in Warsaw.

Nearby, according to the vision of Helena Radziwiłowa, a beautiful romantic park called Arcadia was also created.  Helena put a lot of energy into the arrangement of this place and took care of every detail of this place. Today, we can admire, m.in others, ancient ruins among picturesque, old trees, which delight at any time of the year,

The museum is the organiser of many events, concerts and interesting lectures, so it is worth familiarising yourself with the current offer on the facility's website before your arrival.
