An extremely charming, picturesquely located Gothic castle. The first mention of the building comes from the fourteenth century, when it was the seat of the Oporowski family. After World War II, it passed into the hands of the State Treasury. Currently, its walls house a museum of court interiors with unique furniture. The exhibition is enriched by works of art and everyday objects dating back to the 16th century. Unfortunately, only a few are related to the history of the castle. Museum lessons in the field of art knowledge are organised on site, but they are available only for organised groups.
An interesting fact is that the castle chambers were used to create scenes for well-known productions m.in. "Mr. Samochodzik and the Prague Secrets", "Extradition" or "The Crown of Kings". When visiting this place, it is worth taking a walk along the alleys of the adjacent park, where both native and imported species of trees grow, including common ash recognized as a natural monument.
