Lodz Meeting Fund

New opportunities for event organizers in Łódź

Łódź Meeting Fund is a financial support programme for business events held in Łódź. Its aim is to increase the number of meetings, congresses, and conferences that contribute to the development of business tourism and promote the city as an attractive MICE destination. The funds are disbursed by the Łódź Tourism Organisation (ŁOT), in accordance with the rules set out in the regulations. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee that funding will be automatically granted.

Who is it intended for?

Funding may be applied for by:


✔ legal entities
✔ organisational units without legal personality
✔ individuals conducting business activity

Applications cannot be submitted by, among others:


⮾ individuals not conducting business activity
⮾ public institutions (the State Treasury, local government units), municipal companies
⮾ entities financed from the budget of the City of Łódź
⮾ entities undergoing restructuring or bankruptcy proceedings

Which events are eligible for funding?

National and international events that:


✔ last at least 2 days
✔ take place in Łódź in 2026–2027
✔ have at least 100 participants
✔ have a minimum of 75% of participants staying overnight in Łódź

Excluded are, among others:


⮾ gala events and evening parties
⮾ cultural and sports events
⮾ trade fairs
⮾ festivals

Event Categories – Category 1 and Category 2

Category 1


To receive funding as a Category 1 event, the project must:

  • take place in Łódź in a commercial venue (hotel/conference centre)

  • use the services of at least 3 members of the Łódź Tourism Organisation (ŁOT) (list)

  • obligatorily include:
    • accommodation services
    • venue rental

  • last at least 2 days (with the majority of the programme taking place before 6:00 p.m.)

  • have at least 100 participants, of whom 75% stay overnight in Łódź

Category 2


To qualify as a Category 2 event, the event:

  • must meet all the requirements of Category 1,

and the organiser must hold one of the following sustainability certifications:
• GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council)
• TSCA
• EU Ecolabel

What can the funds be used for? (eligible costs)

The funding may cover the costs of:

  • venue rental,

  • technical services, catering services, and additional event services,

  • services provided exclusively by entities not affiliated with the organiser,

  • costs documented with VAT invoices with a minimum value of PLN 3,000 net.

The costs must be incurred from the date the agreement is signed up to 14 days after the event ends.

How to submit an application?

  • Fill in the form available below.

  • Submit the application at least 60 days before the event.

  • Attach the required documents:

    • the venue rental agreement,

    • a cost estimate of the expenses eligible for funding.

  • After approval, an agreement is signed specifying the rules for settlement and payment.

Payments are made quarterly (the 4th instalment may be paid out in the following year).

Information obligations and cooperation with the Łódź Tourism Organisation (ŁOT)

The organiser must:

  • mark the event with the ŁOT logo and include the following statement:
    “The event is co-financed by the Łódź Events Fund, implemented by the Łódź Tourism Organisation.”

  • agree on the method of logo presentation,

  • retain documentation for 6 years,

  • cooperate with ŁOT in promoting Łódź (e.g. a promotional stand, materials about local attractions, gadgets, public transport tickets).
