Lodz Meeting Fund

Łódź is opening up to events! Thanks to the Lodź Meeting Fund, the city is becoming a hub for innovative business and congress initiatives. This unique programme supports organisers in delivering prestigious meetings, conferences, and congresses, strengthening Łódź’s position on the map of Poland and Europe.

The Łódź Meeting Fund is a pioneering initiative designed to attract national and international events to Łódź. The programme supports the event industry, promotes the city as an attractive destination, and builds a strong brand for Łódź among event organisers. What sets us apart is our partnership-based approach, openness to new ideas, and commitment to sustainable development.

Who can apply?

• Business entities conducting economic activity

• Organisational units with the legal capacity to incur financial obligations

Event requirements:

• Location: a commercial venue in Łódź

• Number of participants: minimum 100 people

• Duration: at least two days

• Additional requirement: at least 75% of participants must use accommodation in Łódź

Application process:

• Applications must be submitted at least 60 days before the event

• Required documents include: a cost estimate, venue rental agreement, and organiser details

The amount of support depends on the number of participants and compliance with the programme criteria.

Organisers who present a sustainable event certificate (GSTC, TSCA, EU Ecolabel) are eligible for higher levels of funding — up to PLN 129,000 for the largest events. This is an opportunity to promote environmental responsibility and enhance the prestige of the event.

Sample funding amounts:

• 100–199 participants: up to PLN 25,200

• 200–499 participants: up to PLN 42,000

• 500–999 participants: up to PLN 67,200

• 1,000–1,999 participants: up to PLN 100,800

• 2,000+ participants: up to PLN 129,000

1. Download the application form.

2. Prepare the required documents and cost calculation.

3. Submit the application at the headquarters of the Łódź Tourism Organisation

   (Piotrkowska Street 77/10U, 90-423 Łódź).

4. Wait for contact and, if necessary, provide additional documentation.

5. After a positive decision, sign the agreement and carry out the event.

6. Settle the costs and receive funding in quarterly instalments.
