Since 2017 Łódź Convention Bureau has been operating within the structure of the Lodz Tourism Organization, an association joining both public and private entities which operate in the tourism sector in Lodz. The main objective of the Bureau is the promotion of Lodz as an attractive place for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events), i.e. a place which is suitable for the organization of various kinds of meetings, motivational trips, conferences, congresses, and other events, including trade fairs, concerts, and sporting events.

Łódź Convention Bureau implements its objective through participation in administration of relevant webpages, organization of study tours, participation in trade fairs, responding to the enquiries of event planners, and provision of commercials and articles to professional MICE magazines. Thanks to the affiliation with do ICCA (International Congress and Conference Association), Łódź Convention Bureau actively tries to attract international congresses and conferences to Lodz.

We offers assistance with the selection of an adequate facility. We have an updated data base of conference facilities, such as hotels, conference centers and rooms, sports and special facilities. We also maintain direct contact with event agencies and other providers of side services. If necessary, we can organize sightseeing tours combined with the presentation of selected facilities.

We promote events on our websites. Information regarding the event is shared online on the www.lodz.travel websites,  and on the official city event calendar at www.lodz.pl, as well as on our Facebook profiles: ITlodz, LOTlodz, LodzConvention. If necessary, we place materials promoting the event at the tourist information spots.

We organize study-tours and site-inspections. We prepare and carry out so-called site-inspection in Lodz for event organizers and study-tours for the representatives of the meetings sector. The object of such tour can be both the event base and the city of Lodz in general or by theme.

We help in establishing contact with local authorities and industry. We ensure direct contact with reliable local service providers, we provide assistance with official procedures, and organize meetings with the representative of local authorities.

We provide information on Lodz, a mobile tourist information spot. We provide city promoting materials (maps, brochures, photos, and presentation). We provide an information package on the city for the participants of conferences and other events. In case of large events, we guarantee a mobile tourist information spot on site.

We help people who wish to organize an event. We provide assistance to all those who wish to organize an events in Lodz as far as content and organization, both at the stage of applying for and planning of the event and during the event itself. Within the Lodz Congress Ambassadors Program, we also provide the mentioned assistance to people from academic circles, who wish to organize a national or international scientific conference in Lodz.

We organize sightseeing tours in Lodz for the participants of VIP events. We offer free-of-charge guided city sightseeing tours for important guests of the event. The duration, scope or theme of the trip may be arranged and it usually depends on the preference of the guests.
