Podczas weekendu z LMF łódzkie kamienice oczarują gości swoim pięknym detalem architektonicznym, a instalacje artystyczne zmienią miasto w uliczną galerię sztuki. (za: info prasowe)

Tegoroczna edycja festiwalu "skręca" z <link 3493>ulicy Piotrkowskiej</link>. Ciężar wydarzenia zostanie przeniesiony do Nowego Centrum Łodzi. Ozdobą odnowionej ul. Tragutta będzie podczas festiwalu świetlny tunel o długości 30 m i wysokości 9 m, utworzony ze świecących łuków (dzieło francuskiego studia Piatya) i prowadzący do Nowego Centrum Łodzi. Ponadto mappingi, animacje i instalacje świetlne będą prezentowane na Łódzkim Domu Kultury, <link 4121>cerkwi św. Aleksandra Newskiego</link>, <link 4128>Teatrze Wielkim</link>, placu Dąbrowskiego, ulicy Piotrkowskiej i Pasażu Schillera. Pełen program festiwalu zostanie podany na początku września.

----------

On the last weekend of September (27-29/09/2019) Light Move Festival will again enchant the Center of Łódź. SPACE will be the festival's main theme. Spatially, festival attractions will be concentrated in the New Center of Łódź.

SPACE is the main theme of upcoming edition. <link 3873#26171>Light Move Festival</link> wants to penetrate the urban tissue even more strongly and show how strong impact on a human has the place in which he functions. The creators of festival installations and mappings will refer to the place of its presentation, which will become not only the background for the work of art, but also its integral part.

Space creates endless possibilities for artistic creation. We exist in space, but space also allows us to explore the world. It can also become a fantastic inspiration for our activities. Festival artists will change the places given to them for creative work, integrating their thoughts with the light. They will enchant the city by coloring them with beautiful colors. - says Beata Konieczniak, Light Move Festival creator.

We are extremely proud of the changes taking place in the infrastructure of Łódź - says Krzysztof Piątkowski, Mayor of Łódź. - That is why the festival, whose brand attracts a huge number of tourists, is so important for the city. During the weekend with LMF, Łódź tenement houses will enchant guests with their beautiful architectural detail, and artistic installations will turn the city into a street art gallery. (press info)
